Check the basis of the issue
Before escalating a clash, confirm the model versions, coordinates, review scope and tolerance used. An apparent conflict may result from outdated information or an inconsistent federation setup. Equally, a visually small interference may affect access or installation. Record enough context that the receiving discipline can reproduce and understand the finding.
Assign the right question to the right person
Describe the affected systems, location and consequence rather than forwarding an unexplained screenshot. Identify who needs to propose a resolution and which other disciplines must review its interfaces. The coordination team should distinguish a detection result from a design instruction; technical acceptance belongs with the responsible parties.
Verify resolution in the next issue
Keep the issue connected to the revised model or drawing version. Recheck the interface after the proposed change, including whether it creates a new conflict elsewhere. Closing a coordination item should mean that the agreed resolution has been demonstrated, not merely that somebody acknowledged the comment.
Bring it to the next conversation.
- Record model versions and review scope.
- Describe the consequence and owner.
- Verify the revised interface before closing.
